Attachment detail screen
The attachment detail screen allows you to view and manage all the information associated with a file or link attached in Smart OSH. It is organised into three main sections: top options, main screen content, and tabs.
Top options
Section titled “Top options”From the top bar, you can perform the following actions:
- Download: downloads the selected attachment.
- Save: saves the latest changes made.
- Save and close: saves the changes and exits the screen.
- Cancel: discards the latest changes made.
- Refresh: refreshes the records to see, for example, if any date has been modified.
Main screen content
Section titled “Main screen content”On the main screen, you have the following fields:
- Document type: selectable field that allows you to classify attachments generally and/or for use in the CAE module.
- Descriptive name: free text field that identifies the name of the attachment.
- File: shows the link to the uploaded file. If none has been attached yet, the Browse option appears to upload it.
- External link: free text field that allows you to indicate the URL leading to the document.
Available tabs
Section titled “Available tabs”The detail screen organises the attachment information into several tabs:
- Details: basic aspects of the attachment, such as creation date, whether it belongs to the welcome document, if it has been sent for signing, or if it is active.
- Submissions: record of submissions made for that attachment.
- Requests: record of requests made for that attachment.
- CAE: information about the attachment related to the CAE: issue date, expiry date, activation date, invalidity for the CAE, etc.
- Signatures and distribution: attachment signatures, scope and distribution control, and advanced signature traceability.
- Reports: reports related to the attachment.
- Report templates: allows linking report templates to be used in the attachment.
- SmartStatus: alerts generated for this attachment.
Attachment behaviour
Section titled “Attachment behaviour”How an attachment is generated
Section titled “How an attachment is generated”An attachment can be generated in two ways:
- Automatically, when generating a report. One attachment is created for each version of the report.
- Manually, when uploading any file in Smart OSH.
Available actions on an attachment
Section titled “Available actions on an attachment”From any Attachments tab, you can perform the following actions:
- Attach images and/or documents to provide more information to the record.
- View attachments, whether automatically generated when issuing a signed report or manually uploaded.
- Create signatures and distribution scopes for any attachment in PDF format.
