Create an accident/incident investigation

There are three ways to register an accident/incident investigation:

  • From the notifications list screen (bulk operation).
  • From the detail screen of a notification (individual operation).
  • From the “Accident/Incident Investigations” section (direct registration, without prior notification).
  1. Go to Accidents → Accident/Incident Notifications.
  2. Select the record you want to transfer to an investigation.
  3. Click Operations → Create accident/incident investigation.
  4. Confirm with Yes in the prompt.

Create from the detail screen of a notification

  1. Go to Accidents → Accident/Incident Notifications.
  2. Enter the record you want to transfer to an investigation.
  3. Click Operations → Create accident/incident investigation.
  4. Confirm with Yes in the prompt.

Create from the “Investigations” section

Section titled “Create from the “Investigations” section”

This option allows you to register the investigation without starting from a prior notification:

  1. Go to Accidents → Accident/Incident Investigations and click New.
  2. Complete the general investigation data.
  3. Provide a scope and fill in the Accident location description field in the Scope tab.
  4. Click Save.
