Create an accident/incident investigation
There are three ways to register an accident/incident investigation:
- From the notifications list screen (bulk operation).
- From the detail screen of a notification (individual operation).
- From the “Accident/Incident Investigations” section (direct registration, without prior notification).
Create from the notifications list screen
Section titled “Create from the notifications list screen”- Go to Accidents → Accident/Incident Notifications.
- Select the record you want to transfer to an investigation.
- Click Operations → Create accident/incident investigation.
- Confirm with Yes in the prompt.
Create from the detail screen of a notification
Section titled “Create from the detail screen of a notification”- Go to Accidents → Accident/Incident Notifications.
- Enter the record you want to transfer to an investigation.
- Click Operations → Create accident/incident investigation.
- Confirm with Yes in the prompt.
Create from the “Investigations” section
Section titled “Create from the “Investigations” section”This option allows you to register the investigation without starting from a prior notification:
- Go to Accidents → Accident/Incident Investigations and click New.
- Complete the general investigation data.
- Provide a scope and fill in the Accident location description field in the Scope tab.
- Click Save.
Mandatory fields
