How to manage inspections and maintenance of PPE
Once the PPE has been delivered, the module allows you to record its inspections and periodic maintenance. If the PPE type has a defined frequency and a responsible person, the designated fields are filled in automatically; here you only record the action performed.
Both actions (inspection and maintenance) follow the same pattern and can be carried out in bulk or individually.
Managing PPE inspections
Section titled “Managing PPE inspections”In bulk
Section titled “In bulk”Useful for recording the same inspection date and the same person for several requirements at once.
- Access the PPE Requirements list screen.
- Select one or more requirements in the “Delivered” and/or “Completed” status.
- Click Operations > Bulk Inspection.
- Fill in Actual inspection date and Employee who performed the inspection.
- Click Accept.
From the requirement detail screen
Section titled “From the requirement detail screen”- Access the PPE Requirements list screen and enter the requirement.
- In the Inspections tab, fill in Actual inspection date and Employee who performed the inspection.
Managing PPE maintenance
Section titled “Managing PPE maintenance”The process is identical to that of inspection, but using the maintenance operation and tab.
In bulk
Section titled “In bulk”- Access the PPE Requirements list screen.
- Select one or more requirements in the “Delivered” and/or “Completed” status.
- Click Operations > Bulk Maintenance.
- Fill in Actual maintenance date and Employee who performed the maintenance.
- Click Accept.
From the requirement detail screen
Section titled “From the requirement detail screen”- Access the PPE Requirements list screen and enter the requirement.
- In the Maintenance tab, fill in Actual maintenance date and Employee who performed the maintenance.
