Questionnaire Dashboard by Company and Site

The Dashboard for Questionnaires by Company and Site allows you to analyse, question by question and answer by answer, how a specific questionnaire has been answered in each company, site and section. Unlike the Questionnaires dashboard —which provides an overall view of how many questionnaires there are and how they evolve—, this one focuses on the detail of the answers and distributes them across the organisational structure, so you can compare how each company or site responds to each question.

You will only see data from the companies, sites, sections and positions you have access to according to your user profile. Two different people may see different figures on the same dashboard, and that is expected.

You choose a template first. This dashboard analyses a single questionnaire model at a time. At the top you must select the questionnaire template you want to study; from there, the entire screen shows the detail of the answers to the questions in that template.

The unit of analysis is the answer. While the Questionnaires dashboard counts complete questionnaires, here each questionnaire is “opened” into its questions and answers. That is why the numbers you see are counts of answers to questions, not questionnaires.

Correct, incorrect and not applicable answers. Each answer to a question can be correct, incorrect or marked as not applicable when the question is not relevant in that case. The dashboard breaks down, for each possible answer option, how many times it has been chosen and what proportion of those were correct, incorrect or not applicable.

Only answered questions are counted. The counts only take into account questions that have actually been answered. Questions that are only titles or separators within the questionnaire are not counted.

Active elements. The analysis only considers companies, sites and sections that remain active.

Scope permissions. The dashboard only includes questionnaires from the companies, sites and sections you have access to. That is why two users with different permissions may see different figures.

Chained filters. All filters are applied simultaneously to the analysis table. If you select a site, a question or a period, the detail is recalculated only with the answers that meet those criteria.

On the left side and at the top area you will find the filters. Most allow multiple selection and include a search box. Remember that, additionally, at the top you must choose the questionnaire template you want to analyse.

This is the main element of the dashboard. It is a cross table (pivot table type) that, in the rows, displays the template, each question and each of its possible answer options, and in the columns, the company, the site and the section. At each intersection it shows how that option was answered in that scope.

For each answer option and each scope, the table offers these value columns:

ColumnWhat it showsHow it is calculated
Answers (number)How many times that answer option was chosen.Count of answers given with that option.
Answers (%)The weight of that option within its question.Answers with that option ÷ total answers given to that question.
Correct (number)How many of those answers were correct.Count of correct answers with that option.
Correct (%)What percentage of correct answers that option represents.Correct answers with that option ÷ total answers given to that question.
Incorrect (number)How many of those answers were incorrect.Count of incorrect answers with that option.
Incorrect (%)What percentage of incorrect answers that option represents.Incorrect answers with that option ÷ total answers given to that question.
Not applicable (number)How many of those answers were marked as not applicable.Count of not applicable answers with that option.
Not applicable (%)What percentage of not applicable answers that option represents. Not applicable answers with that option ÷ total answers given to that question.

The percentage columns are accompanied by coloured bars that make it easier to compare, at a glance, how each company or site answers each question.

Why do I have to choose a template before seeing data?
Because this dashboard analyses the detail of the answers of a single questionnaire model at a time. Until you select the template at the top, there is no specific set of questions to analyse.

Why do the percentages for a question add up to 100% per column?
Because each percentage is calculated relative to the total answers given to that question in that scope. This way you can see the distribution of answers for each question within each company, site or section.

Why does a company or site I expected not appear?
The analysis only takes into account active companies, sites and sections, and only those within your scope permissions. If the element is deactivated or outside your access, it will not be shown.

Why do some questions not appear?
Only questions that have actually been answered are counted. Those that are only titles or separators within the questionnaire are not counted.

Why do my figures not match those of a colleague?
The dashboard applies the scope permissions of each user: only questionnaires from the companies, sites and sections you have access to are included.
