Permanent deregistration of vehicles or machines

When a vehicle or machine is no longer part of your company’s resources (it is not just that it has stopped being used in a specific coordination), you must permanently deregister it. This process removes the resource from the system.

Difference between unassigning and deregistering

• Unassigning: the vehicle or machine is no longer linked to a specific coordination, but remains a resource of your company and can be assigned to other coordinations.
• Deregistering: the vehicle or machine is no longer part of your company and is permanently removed from the system.

Use permanent deregistration only when the resource is completely out of use or has been deregistered in your organisation.

Before you start

Before you can deregister a vehicle or machine, it must be unassigned from the coordination. That is, it must appear in the table below Vehicles / Machines of the external company not associated with the coordination.

If you have not unassigned it yet, consult the tutorial Unassign vehicles / machines from a coordination and then return to this process.

How to deregister a vehicle or machine

1. Access the coordination editor.
2. Go to step 4 · Vehicles / Machines of the wizard.
3. In the table Vehicles / Machines of the external company not associated with the coordination, select the resource(s) you want to deregister.
4. Click Deregister vehicle/machine.
5. Confirm the action.

Once confirmed, the vehicle or machine is deregistered in the system.

Batch deregistration

You can select several vehicles or machines at once and deregister them in a single operation, provided they all meet the requirement of being unassigned.
