Research Settings
From Settings → Accident/Incident Investigations you can configure three aspects of the module that affect the behaviour of investigations:
- Method of automatic assignment of responsible persons to new investigations.
- Automatic recalculation of hours worked.
- Accident parameters (reference for the indices).
Assignment of responsible persons to new investigations
Section titled “Assignment of responsible persons to new investigations”Defines how the Investigated by field is automatically filled when creating a new investigation:
- Go to Settings → Accident/Incident Investigations.
- Select the desired method.
- Click Save.
| Option | Behaviour |
|---|---|
| Do not select any record | When creating the investigation, no responsible person is assigned in Investigated by. |
| User who creates the investigation | When selecting the scope, the Investigated by field is filled with the employee who created the record. |
| Accident/incident management responsible | When selecting the scope, Investigated by is filled with the employee configured as responsible for accident/incident investigation participation. |
Automatic recalculation of hours worked
Section titled “Automatic recalculation of hours worked”Enables the equitable distribution of an employee’s working hours among their different job assignments:
- Go to Settings → Accident/Incident Investigations.
- Check Enable automatic recalculation of hours worked.
- Click Save.
Accident parameters
Section titled “Accident parameters”Configure the parameters to be used as a reference in the Index table:
- Go to Settings → Accident/Incident Investigations.
- Fill in the fields in the Accident parameters section.
- Click Save.
