How to configure roles for Questionnaires
For a user to view and manage questionnaires from the App, you must assign them the corresponding role. There are two types of assignment:
- Global role: the user accesses all scopes.
- Role by scope: access is restricted to one or more specific scopes.
Assign a global role
Section titled “Assign a global role”Global roles allow the user to access ALL scopes.
Procedure
Section titled “Procedure”- Go to Settings → Users and enter the corresponding user.
- Open the Global roles tab and click Link.
- Search for the role App – Cuestionarios, select it and click OK.
- Click Save and then Operations → Recalculate permissions.
Assign a role by scope
Section titled “Assign a role by scope”Roles by scope restrict the scopes where the user can access and manage questionnaires.
Procedure
Section titled “Procedure”- Go to Settings → Users and enter the corresponding user.
- Open the Roles by scope tab and click New.
- Specify the scope and activate the checks you need (see details below).
- Link the role App – Cuestionarios.
- Click Save and then Operations → Recalculate permissions.
Available checks for roles by scope
Section titled “Available checks for roles by scope”In Settings → Users → user record → Roles by scope, you have the following checks:
Include own elements
Section titled “Include own elements”Grants the user permission to view those elements created by themselves within the specified scope. For example: a team or installation that the person has registered.
Include elements not classified by scope
Section titled “Include elements not classified by scope”Grants the user permission to view elements that do not have a specific scope assigned. For example: a PPE.
Include the specified scope
Section titled “Include the specified scope”Grants the necessary permissions to act within the specified scope, according to the completed data of company, site and/or section, respecting the limitations of the chosen role.
