Customised dashboards

The Dashboards module allows you to exploit and process information from different Smart OSH modules to present it in the form of key performance indicators (KPIs).

At the top of the module, the custom dashboards (exclusive to each client) appear, followed by the standard dashboards.

The module allows you to view, export and process key data for your organisation in various areas:

  • Internal audits and general monitoring.
  • Monitoring of personnel, workstation map and task completion.
  • Accident dashboard and accident rates.
  • Monitoring of training actions, employee participation and CAE coordinations.
  • Data on CAE validations and custom KPIs.
  • External audits.
  • Key data on personnel, accident rates, training, participation, CAE coordinations and custom KPIs.

The module connects with practically the entire suite: Organisation, Tasks and notices, Documentation, Risks, Measurements, Ergonomic and psychosocial studies, Questionnaires, Accidents, Training and information, PPE, Health surveillance, Leadership and employee participation, Prevention service, Management systems, Change management, Visit control, CAE and Clients and suppliers.

Access to the module is via Smart OSH with your username and password.

To access the module, the user must be assigned one of the following roles depending on the actions they need to perform:

  • Dashboards - View: read-only.
  • Dashboards - Modify: read and modify.
  • Dashboards - Edit: full control, including editing.
SectionDescription
ObjectivesIndicates the objectives to be set in the dashboards. Applies only to custom dashboards.
DashboardsView and export data from the consulted dashboards.
DistributionsView and create new distributions to send dashboards to recipients.
Dashboard definitionDefines whether a dashboard obtains data in real time (Online) or deferred via snapshots.
ConfigurationView the units of the objectives. Applies only to custom dashboards.

Objectives are the reference values for custom dashboards. For example, a monthly target of 40 units for a specific KPI.

When accessing Dashboards > Objectives you have the complete list of existing objectives.

The View active filter allows you to narrow the view by status (Active, Inactive or All) according to the Active checkbox marked in each objective.

The top options are the usual: New, Delete, Save, Cancel and Refresh.

Entering an objective gives access to its main data and the Values tab, where the values associated with the objective are managed.

In the top options, in addition to the usual ones, you will find Operations > Fill values, which allows you to automatically fill the same values at constant intervals.

Accessing Dashboards > Dashboards opens a separate tab with the available dashboards. On the left menu, custom dashboards appear first, followed by standard ones.

Each dashboard, whether custom or standard, allows you to:

  • Consult and interact with its content by applying filters.
  • Export the dashboard to PDF, PNG or Excel XLSX.

These are exclusive dashboards developed for each client, usually to improve the KPI content in a specific module.

These are the dashboards available by default for any installation. If the client has a custom dashboard that improves the standard content for that module, the standard one is automatically hidden to avoid confusion.

From Dashboards > Distributions you can manage the automatic sending of dashboards to the appropriate recipients.

The top options are the usual: New, Delete, Save, Cancel, Refresh and also Distribute Dashboard.

Entering a distribution gives access to all its main data. The top options are the same as in the list, including Distribute Dashboard.

The Dashboard definition section lists all the dashboards available in the module and how they are published. This is where the performance and availability of each dashboard are controlled.

Available dashboards are those that appear in this section with the “Active” checkbox marked. To make a dashboard unavailable to all users, uncheck the “Active” box and save.

By default, dashboards are generated in “Online” mode: information is queried directly from the database in real time.

  • The Status field shows Online.
  • In the dashboard detail screen, the Enable snapshot checkbox is not checked.
