How to send the password change email from the App

From a training call you can send employees an email with their username and a link to change their password, so they can access the Smart OSH App to complete the training.

Steps

1. Go to Training and information > Training calls and enter the call.
2. Open the Submissions (calls and app access) tab.
3. Select the record to which you want to send the email.
4. Click Operations > Send email to change password.

Tip

From the same Submissions (calls and app access) tab you can check the dates and times of previously sent emails, which helps you avoid unnecessary resends.

What the employee receives

The employee receives an email with:

• Their username.
• A link to change the password.

Caution

The employee has a limited time to change the password. The duration is configured in Settings > Customisation > Send email to change password (in days). If the employee does not open the email within that time, the link will no longer be valid and you will need to resend it.
