How to register an ergonomics method

The ergonomics methods are the models applied in ergonomic studies. This page describes how to create a new one and how to register its associated levels (with their colour and interpretation), which will appear when evaluating the study.

Steps to register the method

1. Go to Ergonomic Studies > Settings > Ergonomics Methods and click New.
2. Fill in the method fields and click Save.

Note

At a minimum, you must fill in Method name to be able to save the record.

Detail screen fields

Field	Description
Code	Free text to indicate the code of the ergonomics method.
Method name	Free text that identifies the method.
Active	Checkbox indicating whether the method is active or inactive.
Description	Free text with any description related to the method.

”Levels” tab

The method detail screen includes the Levels tab, where the different levels of the method are registered (for example, low, medium, high risk levels) with their corresponding colour and interpretation.

How to register a level

1. Go to Ergonomic Studies > Settings > Ergonomics Methods and enter the method.
2. Open the Levels tab and click New.
3. Fill in the level fields.
4. Click Accept and then Save.

Note

At a minimum, you must fill in the Level field to be able to save.

Tip

Although not mandatory, it is recommended to fill in the Risk level colour and Interpretation fields: both appear in the ergonomic study when applying the method and provide important visual and interpretative information for those consulting the study.
