Introduction to Ergonomic Studies

Module Functionality

The Ergonomic Studies module allows you to digitise the management of ergonomic and psychosocial studies carried out in your organisation, and to include the overall management of risk factors, Non-Conformities / Opportunities, measures and tasks derived.

Additionally, the module is integrable with Ergo/IBV.

Purpose

• Repository of the ergonomic and psychosocial studies carried out.
• Inclusion of risk factors, measures and tasks derived in the overall management.
• Synchronization with Ergo/IBV.
• Report of ergonomic and psychosocial studies (those coming from Ergo/IBV).

For dealings with third parties

• Report of ergonomic and psychosocial studies (those coming from Ergo/IBV).

Access to the application

Access to the module is via SmartOSH with your username and password.

Caution

The only role that allows access to this module is the Environment Administrator.

Module menu

The module consists of two sections:

Section	Description
Ergonomic studies	Listing screen to register ergonomic studies and consult existing ones.
Ergonomics methods	Configuration section to register the ergonomics methods that will be used in the studies.

Tip

Before starting to register studies, it is advisable to have configured the ergonomics methods that your organisation will use, whether predefined or customised.

How to register a study: two modes

From SmartOSH you can register ergonomic and psychosocial studies in two different ways:

• Freely: you register the study directly in SmartOSH.
• Synchronized with Ergo/IBV: the study is carried out in Ergo/IBV and transferred to the module.

Each mode has its own workflow, described on the corresponding pages of this section.
