The Visit Control module allows you to register visits to your facilities in a controlled manner, collecting the visitor’s identification data, accepted consents, and, optionally, their signature.
This page covers the preliminary concepts (access and roles) and the different methods available to create a visit record.

Section titled “Access to the application”You can register visits from three points:
- SmartOSH (web).

- Global roles: extend navigation and reading permissions without scope restriction.
- Scoped roles: restrict access to the specified scope.
See Roles in Visit Control for details on assignment procedures and the behaviour of each role.
