Introduction to the module
The Accidents module allows you to record and manage accident/incident notifications, create the corresponding investigations, generate the Delta/Conta report and obtain accident indicators from the data collected.
Its purpose is to facilitate compliance with the legal obligation to investigate accidents/incidents in order to neutralise the risk at its source, as well as to make use of the reported information to carry out preventive actions that avoid similar cases.
Objectives
Section titled “Objectives”- Record and manage accident/incident notifications from Smart OSH, the anonymous page, the App or the Viewer app.
- Create accident/incident investigations from the registered notifications.
- Record and manage accident/incident investigations.
- Generate investigation reports.
- Create and manage Delta/Conta reports of the investigations.
- Exploit the information through accident type charts and accident rate charts.
- Use the accident/incident investigation as a basis for preventive actions.
Module reports
Section titled “Module reports”The module has two specific report templates:
- Accident/incident investigation: a complete report with the investigation information.
- Accident/incident investigation sheet: a report that is shown only on screen and is not saved in the application.
Generating the “Accident/incident investigation” report
Section titled “Generating the “Accident/incident investigation” report”You can generate it from two places:
- List screen: select the record and click Generate report.
- Detail screen: click Generate report.
The available options when generating it are:
- Report template: select Accident/incident investigation.
- Notify me by email when the report is generated.
- Digitally sign the report.
- Send the report via email.
- Distribution scopes: send the report later to the people in the indicated scope (or team, activity, position, employee). If signatures are configured, the sending is done after signing.
- Signatures: the indicated people will receive the report to sign it.
Generating the “Accident/incident investigation sheet” report
Section titled “Generating the “Accident/incident investigation sheet” report”The report is shown immediately on screen but is not stored. To generate it:
- List screen: select the record and click Show in report.
- Detail screen: click Report.
