How to register an ergonomic study

To register an ergonomic study in SmartOSH, you have two options depending on how the study is conducted:

  • Freely: the study is registered directly in SmartOSH.
  • Synchronized with Ergo/IBV: the study is carried out in Ergo/IBV and transferred to SmartOSH.
  1. Go to Ergonomic Studies > Ergonomic studies and click New.
  2. Complete the ergonomic study record.
  3. Click Save.

  1. Access Ergo/IBV directly and register the study there.
  2. Perform the data synchronization from Ergo/IBV (either for a new record or for the modification of any other).
  3. View the synchronized information from SmartOSH.

Behaviour of synchronization with Ergo/IBV

When synchronizing a study from Ergo/IBV, some fields are transferred and others are not. It is important to know the difference to understand what can be modified in SmartOSH and what cannot.

These fields are synchronised automatically and CANNOT be modified from SmartOSH:

  • Detail screen: Name, Date, Task performed, Ergonomics method, Synchronized ErgoIBV.
  • Scope tab: ErgoIBV Evaluator Data, ErgoIBV Study Company.
  • Entire tabs: Subtasks, Results and Attachments (regarding documentation loaded from Ergo/IBV).

These fields are not synchronised and CAN be modified from SmartOSH:

  • Detail screen: Evaluated by, Observations.
  • Scope tab: Company, Centre, Section, Position, Activity, Equipment / Installation, Tags.
  • Entire tabs: Recommendations, Risk factors, Non-conformities, Tasks, Attachments.
