CAE Access QR Card

Smart OSH allows you to generate a QR code card for each external employee or vehicle/machine. The card consolidates the access control information CAE and allows you to check the status of the resource from a mobile device when there is no fixed control point.

How to generate the QR card

1. Go to CAE > Coordinations and open the corresponding coordination.
2. Expand the list of Employees or Vehicles / Machines.
3. On the desired record, click the Generate access card button.

Smart OSH downloads a PDF in standard card format with:

• The identifying data of the employee or vehicle/machine.
• The QR code that links to its access control.
• The photo of the employee, if provided in their record.

Tip

Ask your externals to upload their photo in the employee record: it will appear on the card and allow visual verification that the person matches the one being checked.

How to use the card

Print the PDF and place it in a card holder so that the employee or vehicle/machine always carries it visibly. By scanning the QR, you will directly access the access control query of the resource in each coordination in which it participates.

Note

This functionality is especially useful when there is no fixed access control and verification is carried out on the move.
