Why do some screens have an “Active” check?

All detail screens with an Active check are used to identify whether that record is current. You can uncheck it to indicate that a record is no longer active. This way, you can always consult it using the Inactive status filters and maintain the data history.

What are the “Site” and “Location” fields for?

They serve to identify more precisely where the change applies. For example: the site could be office X and the location the floor where the change is made.

The distribution list sends a notification to the employees listed when:

  • The change moves to the Planning status.
  • The change moves to the Start-up status.

Is it mandatory to indicate all scopes of a change?

No. In the Scope tab, you always have six options: Company, Centre, Section, Position, Activity, Equipment/Installation. It is enough to select just one of the six for the change to be generated.

It is used to note any queries made for change management. In this case, the programme does not send any email.

How is the “Main contact person” field completed?

By linking any employee from the Person tab, they will automatically appear in the selectable list of the Main contact person field.

What happens if a manager does not have an email?

The sending remains as Pending manual sending.

How do you resend the email to a manager who did not have an email?

Once their email address is entered in the employee detail screen, go back and force the deferred sending. The email will be sent immediately.
